differences between describtive text and explanation text
DESCRIBTIVE TEXT :· A description text is a text which presents
information about something specifically.· The way of descriptive text in showing thing is
based on the objective fact of the thing.· Descriptive text is a text which lists the
characteristic of something.· For example : a descriptive text about a bicycle, it
will present about the characteristic of a bicycle, including type, the color,
and may be the price, etc. EXPLANATION TEXT :· An explanation text is a text which tells processes
relating to forming of natural, social, and cultural phenomenon.· An explanation text usually starts with a statement
that introduces the subject or topic to the reader. And in the second part it
contains steps that explain how thing happen or the reasons why.· Explanation text usually written in the present
tense.· Example of explanation text : an explanation about
bicycle, it will present about how a bicycle work. b. The
Differences between Social Function of Descriptive Text & Social Function
of Explanation Text
DESCRIBTIVE TEXT :· To
describe a particular thing, or a person, or a place.
· Sometimes
the functions can be introducing, identifying, complementing, criticizing or
promoting. It depends on how the text conveyed.
EXPLANATION TEXT :· To
tell “why” and “how” of the forming of the phenomena.
· To
explain the processes involved in the natural evolution of the natural and
social phenomenon or how something work.

Structures of Explanation Text

Yes, we can use the same theme in both descriptive and explanation texts, but the content of each texts should be different.

No, because actually if we use scientific fact it included on report text.
